Northern Crown Khulani is cultivated by small legacy farmers within the Khulani Coffee Society for Agricultural Development (KCSAD), a grower coalition spanning across Sa’adah. The coalition focuses on advancing farm investments and quality standards throughout the harvest and post-harvest processes.

“Khulani” designates premium heirloom coffee varieties grown in Yemen’s northern ranges, processed naturally through careful hand-picking, sorting, and sun-drying on raised beds or rooftops.

Despite Yemen’s ongoing civil conflict, the coffee community continues to produce some of the most sought after coffees in the world. Their mission focuses on increasing both quality coffee availability from Yemen’s historic growing regions and global market presence.
