Note: in order to attend this class, you must have taken at least 2 Intro to Cupping classes at our shop.
Once you learn “how to cup coffee,” the next step is learning to fill out the evaluation form completely. What constitutes a high score in each individual category? How do you determine the score? The goal is to objectively approach the coffee, not allowing your personal preferences to get in the way of what’s in the cup!
In this class, we will break down the original cupping form. The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) has implemented a new Coffee Value Assessment (CVA), but the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) is sticking with the original form.
