Introduction to Coffee Cupping 5/9/24 (3 PM)

$40.00In this class, you will taste various coffees from around the world in order to evaluate the nuances of coffee flavor, aroma, and fragrance. A coffee cupping (also known as a coffee tasting) is the globally standardized method for evaluating coffee quality and flavor profiles, as well as other attributes like acidity, aftertaste, body, and intensity. You will also learn what constitutes a high and a low score in each individual category as you evaluate three different coffees with our resident Quality (Q) Grader, Catherine Mansell. Whether you’re a first time coffee drinker or a seasoned connoisseur, this class is perfect for those interested in learning more about the wide world of coffee production and flavor!
