DESCRIPTION:How does the aroma of coffee impact our experience? Why does my coffee smell like dirt? Where does the straw smell come from in the cup? Knowing these aromas will help you pinpoint if there are any quality issues with your beans\, storage\, or roasting techniques. In our Coffee Sensory Perception: Aroma class\, attendees will learn to identify and appreciate the diverse aromas in coffee—as well as what contributes to these aromas—with our resident Quality (Q) Grader\, Catherine Mansell. \nEach participant will start with a set of 9 aromas from our Le Nez Du Cafe and match them up with their corresponding picture on the poster. Once all 9 are matched\, they will then find which ground coffees match up to 2 aromas on their poster. DESCRIPTION:In this class\, we will learn about how coffee roast levels impact taste and how to achieve those levels with a Fresh Roast air roaster.
