Our Best Cold Brew Recipes

Filtron’s Cold Water Brewer is designed for coffee lovers who want rich flavor without the bitterness. Made with a virtually indestructible polycarbonate carafe, it ensures a pure taste every time. Here is our staff’s recommendation for the best cold brew and some of their favorite recipes:

Filtron Cold Brew breakdown:

  • 12oz or 16oz of roasted whole beans
  • Grind as coarse as possible
  • Place the green stopper into the bottom of the coffee bowl
  • Soak the thick filter with water and place it firmly in the bottom
  • Add large paper filter to the bowl and wet the filter
  • Add 12oz or 16oz of coarsely ground coffee into the bowl
  • Place the water bowl on top and fill it to the pre-marked line for either 12oz or 16oz of coffee
  • Let the coffee steep for 12 to 24 hours
  • Place container over clear carafe and remove the plug
  • Now you have your cold brew concentrate.
  • Now it’s time to dilute to your preferences. At CCRS, we use:
    • 1 part concentrate: 2 parts water. Add ice as needed to chill.
    • The mixture is good in the fridge for the next 2 weeks!
