The Correo community in Apolo–where workers make and keep their revenue–consists of only a handful of farmers led by Don Ricardo and his family. This coffee bean grows in an area with high elevation, hot days, and cool nights–this allows the seed’s walls to stabilize and lock in its sweet-acidic flavor as its fruit fully develops.
Cupping notes: Chocolate aromas that carry into the flavor, with mild notes of clean citrus. Heavy body, with a tangerine acidity and a sweet caramel finish.
