Recently, Brazil’s Daterra Farm is the first farm in the world to achieve a grade A (highest level) RFA certification for sustainability, and they were the first Brazilian farm to become certified fifteen years ago. Daterra strives to “produce coffee for a better world” by consulting with Sao Paulo State University-Luiz de Queiroz (ESALQ) to brainstorm ways the flora, fauna, water springs, and soil could thrive while simultaneously ensuring the preservation of forests and expanding human rights.

Cupping Notes: Well-rounded cup with pronounced chocolate from first aromatic through the balanced finish. When lightly roasted this CHC Espresso is a perfect single shot espresso rich in flavors with a hint of caramelized pecan on the finish. Darker roasting introduces the flavor of semi-sweet chocolate which creates a superb platform for milk based beverages.
