On a small farm in the Durame Village, this Heirloom variety is grown at 2100 meters above sea level in fertile soil ideal for growing the highest quality coffee beans. Once the beans have completed a 36-48-hour fermentation process in a wet mill, they are laid in raised beds to dry in the sunlight. These Ethiopian beans can spend up to 21 days drying to ensure they’re ready for export.
Cupping notes: Meyer lemon, dark chocolate, and blueberry notes; high acidity; above average sweetness with bright citrus and rich berry complexity.

Roasted medium dark. Prepared in moka pot. Bright acidity, red fruits. I like it blended with Central American beans with lower acidity, chocolate nuttiness for balance (like NicaNola Dos Marias)

Solid Ethiopian. Roasted one batch to City (425° BT) and another to City+ (435°) on SR800 with Razzo extension. I preferred the City+ roast. Flavor was best after a 2 week rest.
